Business in Peru
Peruvians are generally a more emotional culture. They value close relationships in business and want to get to know everything about their business partners. Unlike the United States, there are not many boundaries when it comes to business conversation. It is common for people to ask about personal family topics, hobbies, interests, etc.
In addition, Peruvians are extremely friendly in business; they are described as loud and touchy, boisterous, and happy people. In the United States, this description would be associated with a more "emotional" culture, however, the Peruvians just consider themselves to be a more "social" culture.
